IGN recently posted an interview with the producer of the recent Friday the 13th remake, Brad Fuller. Fuller stated: "You know, we were having a blast on the set; we want to have fun. We also want to bring things [audiences] haven't seen before and one of the things that they haven't seen before is Jason in the snow."
I can see the taglines now: Jason's back, but this time...it's different.
So basically they remake a movie, AKA sold it to you twice, then they want to make a sequel to the remake, when the original already has like 20 sequels. Sounds to me like they're just selling audiences the same movie over and over. I'd rather take the 10$ I would have spent on a movie ticket, go to Blockbuster, rent Friday the 13th Parts 1-8, Jason X, and Freddy Vs. Jason, and beat Hollywood to the punch...9 times.
